Here is a schematic of a 12v normal vehicle battery charger. I personally use a small 10 lb wheelchair battery for use in the capacitor charging of my mobile coilguns. I typically get around 1000 shots off of each charging of the battery, and since I always need a quick charge I had found this nice little 12v battery schematic here. I had found some of the parts were hard to find but when I had completed the circuit it was worth it. It charged up my battery completely, automatically turn's off when done charging completely notifying you with turning off the led. This means no overcharging like most store bought chargers which ruin the battery.
