This is a picture taken of my newly developed Phnumatic Arc Gap Switch. It use's compressed air from the compressor below to bring up the voltage breakdown threashold decreasing the distance between contacts needed and increasing efficiency and performance greatly. As well as allowing to have a cheap, reliable, effective, and easily made HV High Current switch.
This is my 20kv hv homemade voltmeter, very reliable and cheap to make.
In this picture is the final step of the switch begotten firing, you can see the Phneumatic solenoid, compressor, 12v battery, and a legnthly amount of hose so that I have plenty of distance from the coilgun when its firing.
